My professional experience includes working as a counsellor and therapist with adults, adolescents and couples in a variety of contexts. I have provided therapy in community counselling agencies, private practice, an employee assistance programme (EAP) and British schools. While living in the United Kingdom, I helped to implement and maintain counselling services for adolescents within the British school system. I have experience working with a variety of clients suffering from various emotional and psychological problems including, but not limited to, relationship difficulties, depression, bereavement, bullying, post-traumatic stress, and suicidal ideation. I have worked with multi-cultural expatriate clients from a variety of backgrounds.
I have been awarded a World Council for Psychotherapy Certificate. Additionally I have completed workshops and trainings at numerous institutions including, but not limited to, the Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF London), the University of Oxford and De Faculteit voor Mens en Samenleving in Belgium.
